The Victorian Disability Worker Commission has received enquiries about whether it has taken action about the disability workers who were the subject of a 60 Minutes episode that aired on Sunday 14 April 2024.
The allegations about these workers’ conduct are serious and distressing. We confirm the Victorian Disability Worker Commissioner has made a series of consecutive interim prohibition orders against these disability support workers, which ban them from providing disability services in Victoria.
Prohibition orders are published on the Commission’s website. You can find a list of prohibition orders, and sign up to receive prohibition order alerts here.
The Commission can investigate the conduct of disability workers in Victoria. While investigations are underway, we do not comment on matters being investigated. You can read more about our investigation processes, and possible outcomes of investigations here.
